My Goally Tablet Is Not Working! What Do I Do?

Goally not working? Don't panic! Check these things first: 


  • Are you connected to WiFi? If you don't see a little red WiFi icon with a slash on your Goally, you're off to a good start!
  • Does your Goally have the latest software update? On the Goally device, go to Settings (settings gear) > "Technical" > check the Version Number. If there's no link to download the latest update, you're updated! Try these:



1. Turning the device off and back on! Press and hold power button and tap "Power Off"


2. Log out of your tablet and log back in. Just tap the Settings Gear > Technical > Log Out and enter your PIN (pro tip: your PIN is in the Parent App under Settings > Adult Control PIN)

3. The "Hard" reset: press and hold the Power and Up Volume buttons down at the same time for about 15 seconds. It will look like your device is restating, KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTONS DOWN! An Android Recovery screen will appear with the option to Reboot System Now highlighted. Press the power button once! The device will reset and your issue should be fixed.
